Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bledge Stevenson (ranked 22887 p4p, 23656 weight class) and Ron Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson comes to the cage accompanied by Get The F Off My Lawn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Austin!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Austin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stevenson somewhat.
Stevenson tries to clinch up.

Austin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stevenson's guard.
Austin trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Stevenson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!


Austin has his foot on Stevenson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stevenson works his way back into a safe position though.

Austin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stevenson is aware though and is defending well.

Austin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stevenson but Stevenson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ron Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevenson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Austin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stevenson pinned against the cage. Stevenson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Austin is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Stevenson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Stevenson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Austin gets his way!
Stevenson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Austin can do to turn this around?

Austin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Stevenson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Austin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stevenson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Stevenson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bledge Stevenson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Austin shoots in but no luck this time.
Bledge Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Austin.
Stevenson tries to clinch up but Austin circles away and keeps his distance.
Austin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stevenson pinned against the cage. Stevenson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Austin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
