The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lei momentarily.
Lei looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fallas jabs Lei right on the nose. Lei blinks but takes it well.

Lei gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fallas passes Lei's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lei might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fallas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fallas connects with a nice short shot to Lei's temple.

Lei is looking to get back to is feet but Fallas passes into side control.

Fallas scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lei is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Fallas can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
