Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Marks (ranked 2803 p4p, 2646 weight class) and Brenin Arthur (ranked 386 p4p, 366 weight class). The key to victory for Jeremy Marks has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Marks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brenin Arthur!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks tries a head kick but it misses.
Arthur moves out of range of the body kick from Marks.
Arthur feints the counter takedown.
Marks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marks was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Arthur looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Arthur shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marks sprawls well. Marks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Arthur gets slowly back to his feet.
Marks keeps Arthur at a distance using the push kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arthur looks to land a strike but Marks avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Arthur wants to control from the top but Marks keeps moving.

Arthur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marks's waist but Marks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arthur off to one side.

Arthur throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Marks has his hands clasped together but Arthur breaks the hold and Marks is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Arthur!
