The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best misses with a hook.
Gordon throws a hook but Best avoids it easily.
Decent striking displayed by Gordon there.
Aqua Best seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gordon forces Best back against the cage and clinches.
Gordon tries a body shot but Best blocks it.
Gordon prevents a body shot from Best.
Gordon working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Best doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gordon lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gordon.

Gordon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Best throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Best definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Best rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Best misses with a straight left.
Best takes one to the side of the head.

Gordon throws a hook but Best blocks it.
Best displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gordon throws out the jab.

Best throws a looping overhand right but Gordon ducks down to avoid it.

Best on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gordon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Best tries to counter by clinching up but Gordon breaks away and moves out of range.
Best thows a left - swing and a miss!
A little jabbing left from Gordon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Best displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gordon throws out the jab.
Best misses with a looping left.
Gordon staying out of range there.
Best gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Best takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Best is breathing heavily.
Gordon moves away from the strike by Best.
It seemed like Gordon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Gordon cracks Best with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gordon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Best to stand back up!

Best is rocked!

It looks like Aqua Best has been cut.

Gordon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Best! Gordon dives in looking to finish! Best is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Anthony Gordon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
