Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Fields!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerk McQuirk!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fields changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McQuirk tries to avoid it but Fields manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McQuirk to the ground. McQuirk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McQuirk stuffs the takedown attempt from Fields. Fields gets slowly back to his feet.
McQuirk is looking for the big counter here.
Fields shoots in for a double leg but McQuirk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McQuirk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McQuirk wants it to stay on the feet.

Fields tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McQuirk smiles and moves away.

McQuirk wants to break free but Fields has control.

Fields is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McQuirk can't fight it off and eventually Fields manages to take the fight to the floor. McQuirk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fields passes McQuirk's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fields tries to pass to full mount but McQuirk defends it.
Fields is trying to control. McQuirk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Fields will probably get the nod.

That's time! Fields's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McQuirk has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Fields is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

As Fields backs off McQuirk throws a huge counter combo but Fields manages to avoid it all.
