Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Louis (ranked 1854 p4p, 2346 weight class) and Olu Banjo (ranked 111 p4p, 135 weight class). Steve Louis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olu Banjo!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Louis with that takedown attempt.

It seemed like Banjo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've been hearing reports that Louis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Banjo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Louis defends well.
