PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Keahi (ranked 4378 p4p, 5216 weight class) and Android Reserves (ranked 194 p4p, 215 weight class). Keahi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Unstoppable - Sia. Android Reserves will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Android Reserves!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keahi looks to land a right hand but Reserves moved out of range.
Keahi sets himself, and Reserves steps forward looking for the clinch! Keahi avoids it this time.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Reserves.
Reserves closes the distance and clinches up with Keahi, looking for a takedown. Reserves pushes Keahi against the cage but Keahi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Reserves misses with a takedown attempt - Keahi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Keahi pulls Reserves in close to prevent any damage.
Keahi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Keahi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Reserves enables Keahi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reserves manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Keahi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reserves for as long as he can get away with.

Reserves is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Keahi pulls his head out easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charles Keahi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Keahi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A victorious Charles Keahi thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Android Reserves was interviewed post fight and said 'I blame this loss on the incompetence of the arena staff. Clearly they didn't have my pre-fight pies ready for me'.
