Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Pending (ranked 6465 p4p, 24986 weight class) and Carlos Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 60 - 156 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Pereira!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira rushes Pending and presses him up against the cage.
Pending looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pereira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pereira has closed the distance and engaged Pending in a clinch.
Pending could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pending tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pereira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pereira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pereira throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Pereira throws a shot to the body.
Pending takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pereira cracks Pending on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pending falls backwards against the cage. Pereira follows up with more strikes that drop Pending to his knees. Pereira keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pending! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Pereira!
