Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davide Farina (ranked 2437 p4p, 2912 weight class) and Brad Foster (ranked 338 p4p, 396 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Davide Farina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Foster!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Farina looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farina manages to work his way to half guard, despite Foster's best efforts.
Foster is keen to just control but Farina is a slippery customer.
Foster prevents Farina from improving his position.
Farina trying to control but Foster postures up.
Farina is looking to improve his position.
Foster is looking to advance position but Farina won't allow it.
Farina is trying to control but can't.
Foster perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farina has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Foster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Farina, who protects the arm well.

Farina parries the strikes from Foster easily there. Foster is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Farina to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Farina is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Foster is nestled in close to Farina, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Foster wants to control from the top but Farina keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Farina is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Foster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farina can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Foster wants to sweep here but Farina controlling him for the moment.
Farina wants to pass the guard but Foster is keeping the position.
We've been informed that Foster has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Farina stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Farina is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Farina will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Farina wants to control from the top but Foster keeps moving.
Farina stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Farina controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Foster has his takedown stuffed
and Farina counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brad Foster will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Foster dives in and grabs Farina's left leg, looking for a takedown. Farina pushes down on Foster's head and hops out.
We've been told by Farina's head coaches at Invictus MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Foster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Farina counters with a nice uppercut.
Davide Farina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Foster.
Foster tries to clinch

and Farina counters with a crisp right hand that drops Foster! Farina lets Foster back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Foster is rocked!

It looks like Brad Foster has been cut.
Farina is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Foster can do to turn this around?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster moves to clinch but Farina breaks away
and Farina counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Davide Farina!
