Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Sean O Rally (ranked 19284 p4p, 22370 weight class) and Ross Buchanan (ranked 432 p4p, 408 weight class). Buchanan has chosen Roy Buchanan's Train Blues as his entrance music. Sean O Rally has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 35 - 46 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ross Buchanan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buchanan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A left and a right from O Rally both land. Nice combination.
O Rally looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
O Rally really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Buchanan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
O Rally connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Buchanan lands a glancing blow to the side of O Rally's head.
O Rally scores with a crisp jab that stopped Buchanan in his tracks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

O Rally is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
O Rally throws a right hand that Buchanan ducks under and follows up with a left that Buchanan also avoids with ease.

O Rally fires out a quick counter leg kick but Buchanan just manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts O Rally, as that shot connected.

and O Rally counters with a left to the body.
O Rally is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
O Rally scores with the left hand. Buchanan knows he should have avoided that one.
O Rally moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
O Rally lands with an uppercut that bounces Buchanan off the ropes and back into range.
O Rally connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Buchanan's hands.

Buchanan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
O Rally cracks Buchanan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
O Rally connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Buchanan momentarily.
O Rally takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ross Buchanan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buchanan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Buchanan walks into a stiff left hand from O Rally.
O Rally dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
O Rally lands a really nice looking cross but Buchanan seems unphased.
O Rally moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
O Rally is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Buchanan throws a left and a right that both miss
letting O Rally counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

O Rally paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
O Rally digs a good hook to Buchanan's body.

Ross Buchanan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Rally lands with an uppercut that bounces Buchanan off the ropes and back into range.
Buchanan misses with a left hand
and O Rally counters with a straight right hand.
Buchanan is rocked!
Buchanan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Buchanan has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buchanan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling O Rally to score with a decent uppercut.
O Rally scores with a nice head shot.
Buchanan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Buchanan is still on wobbly legs! Can O Rally finish him?
O Rally thuds a left hand into Buchanan's body.
Buchanan seems to have recovered his senses.
Buchanan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
O Rally feints and then cracks Buchanan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Buchanan down.
Buchanan walks into a left hand.
Buchanan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and O Rally counters with a right hand to the body.
Decent striking displayed by O Rally there.
O Rally tries to land a leg kick but Buchanan saw it coming and moves away.
O Rally uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buchanan.
Buchanan throws a poor cross that misses
and O Rally counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Buchanan drops his hands momentarily and O Rally takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
O Rally pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Buchanan back to the ropes. O Rally follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

O Rally lands a nice shot that snaps Buchanan's head back.
Buchanan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
O Rally comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Buchanan misses with a lunging right hand
letting O Rally counter with a right hand.
O Rally changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
O Rally dodges the punch combination from Buchanan.
O Rally half committed to a counter leg kick.
Buchanan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and O Rally counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice shot lands for O Rally.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buchanan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Buchanan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A low kick from Buchanan misses
and Buchanan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Buchanan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Buchanan there as he acknowledges the shot.
O Rally showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Buchanan.
Buchanan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and O Rally counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

O Rally fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Buchanan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and O Rally cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
O Rally lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Donk. O Rally catches Buchanan right on the button with a cross.
O Rally closes the distance and catches Buchanan with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Buchanan is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Buchanan is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Buchanan is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! O Rally takes it!
