Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinkman (ranked 4013 p4p, 4306 weight class) and An Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 220 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinkman gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nguyen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pinkman walks away with a smile on his face. Nguyen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Horrible takedown attempt by Nguyen or perhaps it was just good defense by Pinkman, which made it look bad.

Nguyen postures up and lands a big shot to Pinkman's brow.
Pinkman has his foot on Nguyen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nguyen works his way back into a safe position though.
Nguyen is pushing down on Pinkman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pinkman is fighting to maintain full guard but Nguyen has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nguyen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pinkman defends it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nguyen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Pinkman scores with a hook to the body. Nguyen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Nguyen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pinkman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nguyen!
