Hansen has chosen If I had a heart as his entrance music. Soren Hansen looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai throws a big shot that misses.
Hansen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chai with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hansen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chai darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hansen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chai pinned against the cage. Chai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chai seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Chai looks to throw the jab but Hansen is out of range.
It seemed like Hansen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A telegraphed right hand from Chai misses the target.
Hansen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chai.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hansen.
Chai loads up on a big right hand but Hansen slips the punch.
Chai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hansen.
Shahriyar Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Soren Hansen.

Chai misses with a wild body shot.
Hansen fails with a takedown attempt.
A jab from Chai finds it's way through Hansen's defenses.

It looks like Soren Hansen has been cut.

Chai fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hansen to the ground. Chai is now in Hansen's guard.

Hansen has momentary wrist control but Chai slips an elbow through the middle.
Hansen is still in real trouble! Can Chai finish him?
Chai arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hansen's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
