Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Batu Otgonbayar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haise Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otgonbayar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Come on Otgonbayar - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Otgonbayar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Otgonbayar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aoki, pushing him back against the cage.

Aoki is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Otgonbayar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A bit of stalling here from Otgonbayar.
Aoki is trying to pull guard but Otgonbayar has him pressed against the cage.
Otgonbayar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Aokis head.
It looks like Haise Aoki has been cut.

A nice left hand lands by Otgonbayar.
Otgonbayar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Otgonbayar lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Aoki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Otgonbayar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Batu Otgonbayar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haise Aoki.
Aoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Otgonbayar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Otgonbayar clinches up against the cage.
Otgonbayar lands a nice uppercut.
Otgonbayar lands a shoulder strike.
Aoki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Otgonbayar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Otgonbayar scores with a nice short uppercut.
Aoki wants a takedown but no success here.
Otgonbayar manages to break the clinch.
Otgonbayar drops Aoki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aoki looks back up at him and smiles so Otgonbayar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Aoki is rocked!
Otgonbayar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Otgonbayar has closed the distance and engaged Aoki in a clinch.
Aoki is still on wobbly legs! Can Otgonbayar finish him?

Aoki is trying to pull guard but Otgonbayar has him pressed against the cage.

Aoki's coach down at LA Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Aoki's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Otgonbayar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Otgonbayar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Otgonbayar throws a big uppercut that drops Aoki! More strikes from Otgonbayar and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Aoki lies dazed against the cage as Otgonbayar celebrates with his cornermen!
