Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Silva (ranked 1824 p4p, 1596 weight class) and Leonard Nimoy (ranked 273 p4p, 246 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Leonard Nimoy enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonard Nimoy!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimoy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nimoy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nimoy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Nimoy's head.
It looks like Leonard Nimoy has been cut.
Silva misses with a hook. Nimoy ducked under it nicely.
Nimoy appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nimoy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
