Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Chang (ranked 511 p4p, 115 weight class) and Siale Veainu (ranked 85 p4p, 23 weight class). Chang comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting ft. Fatboy Slim. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Siale Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu scores with a shot to the body.
Chang misses with a hook. Veainu ducked under it nicely.
Veainu throws the left hand but Chang avoids the punch easily.
Chang misses with a hook to the body
and Veainu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Chang throws a right hand that misses
letting Veainu counter with a right hand.
Chang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Veainu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Veainu circles away from the clinch attempt.

Chang darts in and clinches Veainu up against the cage.
Veainu wants to break free but Chang has control.
Chang scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Chang swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Veainu misses with a body punch.

Veainu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chang has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Quarry in the buildup to the fight.
Chang throws a lazy head kick
and Veainu counters with a stiff right hand.
Chang avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Veainu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Veainu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chang takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Chang. Veainu shrugs it off though.
Veainu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chang.

Chang moves into the clinch.
Veainu can't break the clinch.
Chang blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Veainu lands with a left to the head.
Chang gets through Veainu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Veainu tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Veainu throws a punch but it's blocked by Chang.

Chang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Veainu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chang scores with a nice head shot.
Chang slips a straight right by Veainu.
Veainu throws a body shot but no joy.
Veainu jabs Chang to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Chang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Veainu tries to throw a body punch but Chang avoids it by throwing Veainu back against the cage.
Chang is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Chang is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Veainu to keep the fight standing.
Veainu has a couple of punches blocked by Chang.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chang misses with a kick to the body.
Veainu doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Chang throws a sloppy head kick
letting Veainu counter with a right hand.
A big left from Veainu misses.
Veainu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chang stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Chang takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Chang lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A lazy left from Veainu finds it's target.
A shot to the body from Chang misses

and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Chang toppling to the canvas! Chang scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!

Chang is rocked!
Chang is aggressively charging in as Veainu backs up avoiding any damage. Veainu tosses out a jab and Chang runs right into it face first! Chang is out cold! Veainu dropped down on all fours and is barking in Chang's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
