Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Dunham (ranked 1050 p4p, 1723 weight class) and Juan Carlos (ranked 161 p4p, 263 weight class). Dunham comes to the cage accompanied by Im Forever Blowing Bubbles. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Carlos!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch but Carlos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
An inside leg kick lands from Carlos.
Carlos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Carlos shoots in looking for a takedown but Dunham manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carlos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dunham doesn't manage to clinch there - Carlos circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Carlos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dunham does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dunham is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carlos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Carlos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dunham's guard.

Carlos clobbers Dunham with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dunham lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Carlos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Carlos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A little jabbing left from Carlos on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Dunham slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Carlos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dunham is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Carlos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dunham!
Carlos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dunham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carlos on the ground.
Carlos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
