Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hasbulla Nurmagomedov (ranked 3685 p4p, 2795 weight class) and Bo Duran (ranked 473 p4p, 380 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duran gets a clinch.
Nurmagomedov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duran walks away with a smile on his face. Nurmagomedov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Nurmagomedov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Hasbulla Nurmagomedov has been cut.

Nurmagomedov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nurmagomedov lands in his opponent's guard.

Duran digs a right hand underneath Nurmagomedov's ribcage. Nurmagomedov let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Duran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Duran counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duran lands a big uppercut and Nurmagomedov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nurmagomedov looks OK. Duran waves Nurmagomedov back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
