Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trey Sheppherd (ranked 3296 p4p, 24464 weight class) and Pamby Plamblit (ranked 380 p4p, 576 weight class). Pamby Plamblit acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trey Sheppherd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pamby Plamblit!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppherd attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A countering left hand to the body from Plamblit misses.
Plamblit feints a jab promting Sheppherd to slip. Plamblit then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sheppherd slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Plamblit misses with a head kick.
Sheppherd throws a one two combo.

It looks like Pamby Plamblit has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sheppherd checks a leg kick.
Plamblit has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Sheppherd on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sheppherd lands with a cross.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Plamblit working aggressively here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sheppherd has Plamblit pressed against the cage, preventing Plamblit from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Plamblit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sheppherd.
Plamblit walks into a stiff left hand from Sheppherd.

Sheppherd moves into range and clinches up with Plamblit.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sheppherd.
Plamblit looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Sheppherd keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Plamblit's efforts to push away.
Sheppherd's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Come on Sheppherd - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Plamblit wants to break free but Sheppherd has control.

Plamblit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sheppherd takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Sheppherd moves into range and clinches up with Plamblit.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sheppherd rushes Plamblit and presses him up against the cage.

Plamblit tries to circle away but Sheppherd has him pinned against the cage.

Plamblit is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sheppherd is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Plamblit is desperately trying to improve his position but Sheppherd has a good base and remains in mount.
Sheppherd is trying to take his opponent's back.
Plamblit tries to lock up and control but Sheppherd gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Plamblit stops Sheppherd from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Sheppherd throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Plamblit because Sheppherd loaded up on that one.
Plamblit is looking to improve his position but Sheppherd isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Plamblit tries to lock up and control but Sheppherd gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sheppherd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sheppherd.

Sheppherd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Plamblit's guard.
Sheppherd loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sheppherd passes Plamblit's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Sheppherd is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sheppherd goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Plamblit rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sheppherd's guard! Nice work there by Plamblit!
Plamblit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sheppherd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sheppherd is trying to control the position but Plamblit postures up.

Plamblit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Plamblit throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sheppherd blocks it with crossed arms.

Sheppherd changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sheppherd tries to close the distance and clinch but Plamblit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Plamblit jabs Sheppherd to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Plamblit throws a head kick but Sheppherd moves out of range.
Sheppherd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Plamblit circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Sheppherd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
