Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Geno Tito (ranked 4123 p4p, 3960 weight class) and Park Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Geno Tito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Park Pope!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tito fails to land the takedown.
Tito closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pope quickly recovers to half guard.

Pope has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tito is working away from the top position though.
Tito winds up and cracks Pope with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tito is nestled in close to Pope, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tito looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pope with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tito takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tito is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pope is just riding it out for now. Tito eventually gives up the hold.

Pope is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tito defends well.

Pope has his foot on Tito's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tito works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tito lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tito landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Tito lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pope! More strikes land and this one is all over! Tito jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
