Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 24295 p4p, 24796 weight class) and Daniel Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindsey has chosen Homecoming as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Lindsey!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amiga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lindsey napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Amiga is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Lindsey is trying to improve his position.
The strikes coming from Amiga are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lindsey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Amiga wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lindsey wants to control but Amiga postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lindsey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Amiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lindsey for as long as he can get away with.

Lindsey dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Lindsey's head and hops out.
Lindsey tries to close the distance and clinch but Amiga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lindsey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Amiga.

Amiga takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lindsey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lindsey can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amiga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amiga is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lindsey will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gakus Amiga will probably get the nod.
