Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Niaz (ranked 1600 p4p, 2319 weight class) and Erasmo Bezerra (ranked 203 p4p, 273 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dick Niaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erasmo Bezerra!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bezerra.
Niaz half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bezerra dives in and scores a takedown into Niaz's guard.
Bezerra stands up over Niaz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bezerra is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Bezerra pushes down on Niaz's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Niaz is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Niaz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bezerra pulls his head out easily.
Bezerra wants to take a breather but Niaz is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Niaz wants to control but Bezerra is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bezerra lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Bezerra misses with a head shot. Niaz uses the momentum to regain guard.

Niaz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Bezerra slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Niaz looking for a guillotine here but Bezerra defends easily.
Bezerra missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Niaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bezerra stands up over Niaz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Niaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Niaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bezerra distracts Niaz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bezerra content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Niaz has locked up a guillotine! Niaz's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bezerra is holding on here and Niaz must be using up a lot of energy. Bezerra has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Niaz gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
