And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 5 losses; Matthew Bandini!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Lake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bandini napping and manages to drive through into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Lake (4) vs (0) Bandini
Bandini wants to control but Lake postures up.
Lake trying to control the action but Bandini is working from the bottom.
Lake controls the position.
You can see the frustration on Bandini's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bandini manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lake is stalling here. Bandini is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lake seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bandini has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Lake (4) vs (4) Bandini
Bandini tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bandini has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lake tries to improve position but can't.

Bandini tries for a kimura but Lake is defending well.
Bandini is working to tighten his grip on Lake's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lake has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bandini is really squeezing tight and eventually Lake passes out! Bandini breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
