The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miguel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miguel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Souza avoids it really well and circles away.
Souza with the counter takedown but Miguel avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miguel dives in and grabs Souza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes down on Miguel's head and hops out.

Souza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Souza seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Miguel is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
