PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Taylor (ranked 2539 p4p, 5184 weight class) and Léo Saint-Clair (ranked 292 p4p, 515 weight class). Léo Saint-Clair told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint-Clair cracks Taylor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Saint-Clair moves out of range of the strikes.
Saint-Clair looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Saint-Clair's jab looks to have found its range, popping Taylor under the eye.

Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Saint-Clair throws an overhand right that lands on Taylor's shoulder, as Taylor tries to avoid the shot.
Saint-Clair has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saint-Clair manages to avoid it.

Saint-Clair steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taylor.
Taylor stuns Saint-Clair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Taylor tries to get into range but Saint-Clair steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Taylor! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Saint-Clair scores the big KO victory!
