Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Drako Pukki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Oneil!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneil throws a front kick that sends Pukki stumbling back into the cage.
Pukki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oneil steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Pukki moves in looking to clinch but Oneil pushes him off.
Oneil swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pukki is looking to clinch.
Pukki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pukki tries for a takedown but Oneil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pukki is breathing heavily.
Oneil bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pukki's head backwards.
Oneil punishes Pukki's body with a nice straight punch.
Oneil connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pukki's hands.
Oneil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pukki.
That kick from Oneil tenderised Pukki's leg. Pukki is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oneil pushes Pukki away with a front kick.
Pukki throws a nice looking combination but Oneil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oneil connects with a right hand. Pukki shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oneil lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oneil digs a good body shot into Pukki's ribs.
Pukki tries for a takedown but Oneil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Oneil bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Oneil throws a leg kick which misses Pukki's front leg but catches the back leg as Pukki tries to avoid it.
Oneil displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pukki.

Pukki gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Oneil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pukki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pukki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Oneil works Pukki's body with a nice hook.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Oneil.

Pukki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pukki takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oneil fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pukki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oneil - the referee stops the clock and Pukki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oneil. Pukki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Oneil lands a nice hook to Pukki's body. Pukki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oneil catches Pukki with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oneil dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oneil fakes the leg kick and cracks Pukki in the body.

Pukki takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Oneil - that will leave a mark!
Oneil ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oneil is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pukki had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Pukki closes the distance and pushes Oneil back into the cage.

Oneil is trying to force a seperation but Pukki has the dominant position.
Pukki keeps control of Oneil as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pukki throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Oneil wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Oneil's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Oneil has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Pukki prevents Oneil from breaking the clinch.
Pukki will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Pukki is trying to drag Oneil to the mat but Oneil just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Oneil is trying to force a seperation but Pukki has the dominant position.
Oneil wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pukki has him pressed against the cage.

Pukki manages to pull guard.

Pukki looking for a guillotine here but Oneil defends easily.

Oneil wants to pass the guard but Pukki is keeping the position.

Pukki looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Oneil is defending well. Pukki quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Oneil has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pukki celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
