Dirt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dirt wants it to stay on the feet.

Dirt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kimura controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dirt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kimura is one step ahead there.
Kimura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dirt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kimura stays in close to Dirt's body and controls the position.

Kimura working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Dirt turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kimura off and cradles Dirt's limp body as Kimura celebrates with his corner.
