Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 23443 p4p, 23425 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 54 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Inday fails with a takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inday shoots in looking for a takedown but Mmm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Inday's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mmm counters with a body kick.
Mmm dives in and grabs Inday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inday pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out.
And Inday counters with a quick kick to the body but Mmm blocks it.
Mmm shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Mmm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Inday sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zambosurian Inday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side.
Inday quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Inday misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mmm was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mmm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inday sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mmm somewhat.

Inday closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Inday sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mmm goes for a double leg but Inday avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Inday continues to drive forward.

Inday closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mmm quickly recovers to half guard.

Inday perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Inday is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mmm has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Mmm closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Inday quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Inday has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mmm is working away from the top position though.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Mmm counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Mmm scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mmm content to control rather than advance.
Inday controlling the position well.

Inday is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mmm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inday does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mmm.

Well Inday has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
