Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder tries to bum rush Sitsongrit with a series of wild strikes but Sitsongrit uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Wilder misses.

and Sitsongrit counters with a big head kick but Wilder shrugs it off.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sitsongrit.

Wilder missing with a left hand there. Sitsongrit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sitsongrit quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Sitsongrit closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wilder's guard.

Sitsongrit seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wilder for as long as he can get away with.

Sitsongrit remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Sitsongrit is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wilder looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sitsongrit gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wilder is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sitsongrit lets go of the hold and Wilder can pop his arm back in it's socket.
