Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Pacucci (ranked 4888 p4p, 3876 weight class) and Tyler Foster (ranked 501 p4p, 440 weight class). Tyler Foster is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacucci tries to clinch up
so Foster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pacucci can't keep his opponent in guard - Foster advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Well, if Foster is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Pacucci tries to get to full guard but Foster has control of the leg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster seems to be working for a kimura but Pacucci defends the submission attempt.

Pacucci has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Foster is working away from the top position though.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Foster working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Pacucci moves in looking to clinch but Foster pushes him off.

Pacucci drops back, looking for a kneebar! Foster looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Foster looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Foster!
Foster tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Foster has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pacucci tries to bench press Foster off him but Foster keeps the position.

Foster working over Pacucci with some ground and pound. Pacucci looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Foster is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Foster trying to control but Pacucci is working from the bottom.
Pacucci tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Foster seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Foster wants to control from the top but Pacucci keeps moving.
Foster is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Foster is breathing heavily.

Foster has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pacucci to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Foster is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pacucci pulls down on the head and he's put Foster to sleep! This one is all over!
