Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Reeves (ranked 5275 p4p, 5942 weight class) and Hristo Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, William Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves throws a combination. Borisov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Hristo Borisov has been cut.
Borisov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Reeves swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Borisov looking to score a takedown here. Reeves is defending well but Borisov drives through and ends up in Reeves's guard.
Reeves seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Borisov throws a big elbow that misses.

Borisov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Reeves, up you get!
Reeves displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Borisov.

It looked like Reeves was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Reeves lands a left and a right that sends Borisov crashing to the canvas! Reeves dives into mount looking to finish!

Borisov is rocked!

Reeves is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Borisov has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Borisov!

Reeves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Borisov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Borisov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reeves is keeping the position for now.

Borisov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Borisov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Reeves controls Borisov momentarily but Borisov frees himself.

Borisov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Reeves, up you get!
Borisov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reeves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reeves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Borisov counters with a body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Borisov. Reeves does a little dance to reset his feet.
Borisov tries to clinch but Reeves moves out of range.
Reeves stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reeves wants it to stay on the feet.

Borisov feints and as Reeves raises his hands in defense, Borisov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Borisov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reeves swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Borisov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Reeves dives on top into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borisov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Borisov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Borisov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Reeves is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Reeves working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Reeves throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Borisov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Reeves throws a strike but Borisov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Reeves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Borisov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Reeves is looking to sweep but instead, Borisov has passed into half guard.

That's time! Reeves's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Reeves throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reeves throws a looping overhand right but Borisov ducks down to avoid it.
Reeves backing away here, and Borisov unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Borisov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reeves looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Borisov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Reeves has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Borisov is defended easily by Reeves.
A quick step to the side and Reeves tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reeves misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reeves unloads with some shots from mount but Borisov bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reeves doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Borisov counters with a head kick. That will keep Reeves thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Borisov stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Borisov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Reeves goes for a double leg but Borisov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Borisov continues to drive forward.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reeves is on top in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Borisov keeping moving, preventing Reeves from controlling successfully.
Borisov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hristo Borisov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

I would just about give that final round to Hristo Borisov.
I think Reeves has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
