The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coker but Coker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salvacion stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coker.
Coker lands with an uppercut that bounces Salvacion off the cage and back into range.

Akeen Coker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt - Coker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Coker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oooooh!!! Coker has knocked Salvacion down with a huge combo! Coker steps away and waves a wobbly Salvacion back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
