The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harged throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alves sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alves drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Harged defends it well.
Alves looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alves goes for a double leg but Harged avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Harged continues to drive forward.
An attempted straight right counter from Harged misses the target.
Alves shoots in and drives through. Harged sprawls well.
Alves has his takedown stuffed
letting Harged counter with a right hand.
