And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dallas Davis!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Davis pushes Johnson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Davis checks a leg kick.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.
Davis moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Johnson goes down! Can Davis finish him!?

It looks like Darrell Johnson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Oh Johnson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.

Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Davis passes into half guard.
Davis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Davis is pressing down on Johnson 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.
Davis content to control rather than advance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Johnson wants to get back to full guard.
Johnson is working hard here to advance position.
Johnson throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Davis manages to pass to side control.

Johnson is looking for a sweep.
Davis stands up and beckons Johnson to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Davis as Johnson shoots in.

Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Davis.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Davis blocks a jab.
Johnson cracks the inside of Davis's front leg.
Johnson throws a one two combo.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Davis scores with a hook.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Davis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnson missing with a left hand there. Davis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Davis connects with the punch.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Davis counter with a right hand.
Darrell Johnson 's cut is getting worse.
Davis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Davis tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davis punishes Johnson 's body with a nice straight punch.
Davis misses with a leg kick.
Darrell Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Davis steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Johnson is out on his feet! Davis sets himself and nearly takes Johnson 's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
