Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Parker (ranked 1948 p4p, 2239 weight class) and Alexander Mesquita (ranked 247 p4p, 286 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me The Horizon - Obey. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker connects with a right hand. Mesquita shakes it off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mesquita looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Parker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Mesquita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
