With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suriyan Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Chai throws the left hand but Sitsongrit avoids the punch easily.
Sitsongrit fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sitsongrit looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sitsongrit throws a hook but Chai avoids it easily.
Sitsongrit misses with a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chai. Sitsongrit does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sitsongrit waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chai.
Sitsongrit throws a front kick aimed at Chai's knee but Chai avoids it well.
Chai tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sitsongrit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sitsongrit leaves Chai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sitsongrit! But no joy.
Chai lands with a hook. Sitsongrit tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chai just misses with a punch to the body.
Sitsongrit tries a quick counter leg kick but Chai is wise to it.

and Sitsongrit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sitsongrit ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've been hearing reports that Chai has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Suriyan Sitsongrit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chai stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Chai shoots in looking for a takedown. Sitsongrit tries to sprawl out of it but Chai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sitsongrit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chai wants to clinch.
Sitsongrit looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Chai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sitsongrit is fending him off so far but Chai persists. Nope, Sitsongrit circles away and we're back to standing.

Chai on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Sitsongrit drops Chai with a big left hand! Chai is injured, injured bad! Sitsongrit jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
