Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Age Sixteen (ranked 2219 p4p, 19822 weight class) and Dwayne King (ranked 290 p4p, 484 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Age Sixteen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 25 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dwayne King!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sixteen gets a clinch.
King scores with a shot to the side of Sixteen's head.
Nice body punch from King.
A short right from King.
Sixteen struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.
King swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sixteen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but King is keeping busy.
Sixteen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sixteen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
King misses with a body punch.
Sixteen wants to stall.
Sixteen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now.
King lands a hook that snaps the head of Sixteen backwards.
King swings wildly with an uppercut but Sixteen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sixteen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from King.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sixteen misses with a punch to the body.
Sixteen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sixteen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Sixteen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sixteen needs to keep his hands up - King had a free shot at his head there.
Sixteen darts in looking for a takedown but King gets double underhooks and turns Sixteen into the cage.

King tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sixteen struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.
King lands a right hand.
King lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A shot in the inside from Sixteen.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Sixteen.
A right hand to the body from King.
King lands with a light punch inside.
Sixteen lands a body punch.
Sixteen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sixteen blocks an uppercut.
King lands a hook that snaps the head of Sixteen backwards.
King misses with a punch on the inside.
A bit of stalling here from Sixteen.
Sixteen misses with a punch to the body.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Sixteen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sixteen trying to stall but King improves his position.
King tries to work over Sixteen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sixteen slowing the pace effectively.

Sixteen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
King scores with a kick to the midsection.

Sixteen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in King's half guard.

Sixteen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sixteen tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sixteen is looking to pass King's guard but actually King recovers to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sixteen showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sixteen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sixteen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sixteen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sixteen passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Sixteen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Sixteen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there.
The referee asks Sixteen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sixteen prefers to stall for the moment though.
King is trying to get back to his feet.

Sixteen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dwayne King will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Sixteen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. King tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sixteen is in King's guard.
King wants to stand and escape but Sixteen is having none of it.
Sixteen wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
Sixteen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sixteen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sixteen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sixteen stands and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control.

King stops Sixteen from passing to mount.
Sixteen throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Sixteen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well.

Sixteen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there.
King is trying to escape the position but Sixteen is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sixteen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sixteen tries to advance to mount but King denies him.
Sixteen wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
Sixteen working the strikes but King uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Sixteen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Sixteen trying to mount his opponent but King defends it.

Sixteen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. King tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sixteen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Age Sixteen!
After winning the bout, Age Sixteen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
