Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Keane!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nouveau walks into a stiff left hand from Keane.
Keane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nouveau.
Nouveau shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nouveau scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Keane looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nouveau prevents Keane from improving his position.

Nouveau wants to advance to full mount but Keane doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Nouveau looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nouveau tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Keane felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Nouveau throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ground and pound from Nouveau seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Nouveau is working to tighten his grip on Keane's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Keane has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nouveau is really squeezing tight and eventually Keane passes out! Nouveau breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
