Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 2174 p4p, 2219 weight class) and Emiliano Blackburn (ranked 212 p4p, 218 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that New Breed One has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily New Breed One seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emiliano Blackburn!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One blocks the body kick.
One doesn't manage to clinch there - Blackburn circles away.
One closes the distance and clinches up with Blackburn, looking for a takedown. One pushes Blackburn against the cage but Blackburn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Blackburn gets caught napping as One dives in and scores a takedown. Blackburn manages to retain guard.
One lands a couple of digs.
Blackburn kicks One off and gets to his feet.
One darts in and clinches Blackburn up against the cage.
One has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Blackburn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Blackburn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
One connects with a knee to the head.
One blocks a body shot from Blackburn.
This has been an exciting period of action!
One tries to pull guard but Blackburn forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

One goes for a takedown attempt but Blackburn pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blackburn but Blackburn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

One shoots for a double leg takedown but Blackburn sprawls well. He's pushed One's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
One fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Blackburn throws a leg kick but One checks it.
Blackburn keeps the fight on the outside.
Blackburn throws a hook to the side of One's head but One sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
One shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
One scoring with strikes to the body and head.
One wants to work for an arm triangle but Blackburn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
One seems to be looking for submissions.
One thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

One throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

One is landing with some decent strikes but Blackburn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Poor strikes thrown by One there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

One is working for a guillotine from mount but Blackburn frees his head quite easily.
Blackburn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
One throwing strikes here but Blackburn is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

One trying to control but Blackburn is having none of it.
One jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Blackburn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Blackburn and One has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
One wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blackburn, who protects the arm well.

One tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
New Breed One dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Blackburn gets a clinch.
One jumps guard but Blackburn stands there with One around his waist. One gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
One goes for a takedown in the clinch but Blackburn prevents it.
Blackburn misses with a short punch on the inside.

Blackburn lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of One backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

One tries to score a body lock takedown but Blackburn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
One misses with a knee strike.

One looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blackburn!
Blackburn takes a swing at One's ribcage but misses.
Blackburn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blackburn throws a low kick but One avoids it.
One bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blackburn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
One is looking to take a break and control but Blackburn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
One tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

One is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Blackburn looks calm but he's in trouble here. One gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Blackburn is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! One lets go of the hold and Blackburn can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). New Breed One!
A very excited looking New Breed One made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
