Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javi Baez (ranked 4977 p4p, 4455 weight class) and Android Reserves (ranked 188 p4p, 181 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javi Baez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Android Reserves!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baez shoots in for a double leg but Reserves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Reserves misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Baez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Baez fails with a takedown attempt.

Baez clinches up against the cage.
Baez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Baez gets underhooks to prevent Reserves's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baez breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Reserves looking for a takedown.
Javi Baez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Android Reserves.

Baez is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Baez checks a leg kick.

Baez shoots for a double leg takedown but Reserves sprawls well. He's pushed Baez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Baez stuffs the takedown attempt from Reserves. Reserves gets slowly back to his feet.

Baez moves into range and clinches up with Reserves.
Baez on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Baez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reserves is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Baez wants a takedown.

Baez drags the fight down to the ground.
Reserves is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Reserves wants to pass the guard but Baez is keeping the position.
Reserves is stalling in the full guard.

Baez managing to control the position.
Reserves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Reserves seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Reserves should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Reserves postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Baez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reserves is fending him off so far but Baez persists. Nope, Reserves circles away and we're back to standing.
Baez blocks the body kick.
Baez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Reserves manages to circle out of the way.
Reserves fails with a takedown attempt.
Baez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baez wants it to stay on the feet.
Reserves lunges at Baez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baez's hand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Reserves fails to land with a series of punches.
Baez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Reserves manages to circle out of the way.
Reserves rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Baez dives in for a single leg takedown but Reserves sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Javi Baez will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Baez shoots in but Reserves avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Reserves feints the counter takedown.
Reserves throws a big shot that misses.
Baez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reserves.
A punch lands to the side of Baez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A big left from Baez misses.
Reserves is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Baez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baez tries to close the distance and clinch but Reserves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reserves lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Baez tries to clinch but Reserves is having none of it.
Reserves fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Android Reserves seems to be getting the better of the standup.
No joy there for Baez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Baez tries to keep at a distance but Reserves has taken the fight into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Reserves breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Reserves has eaten all the pies!
No luck for Reserves with that takedown attempt.
Reserves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Reserves rushes Baez and presses him up against the cage.

Reserves jumps guard and drags Baez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Reserves holds on and takes a little breather.
Reserves wants to sweep but no luck.

Baez looking to pass the guard.
Reserves pulls Baez in close to prevent any damage.
Reserves keeping moving, preventing Baez from controlling successfully.

Reserves looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baez is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Reserves connects with a body shot that sends Baez's belly button to the back.

Reserves tries to sprawl but Baez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Reserves wants to control but Baez is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Reserves is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reserves pushes Baez off looking to stand but Baez dives back in and keeps control.

Baez prevents Reserves from improving his position.
Reserves trying to control from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Baez prevents Reserves from standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Reserves counters with a left and a right that stings Baez.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Android Reserves showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Reserves drives through and clinches with Baez against the cage.
Reserves wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baez has him pressed against the cage.
Reserves has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Baez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reserves smiles and moves away.
Reserves shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Baez sprawls well. Baez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reserves gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Reserves.
Baez was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reserves shoots in looking for a takedown but Baez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reserves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Baez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Baez is trying to control. Reserves wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Reserves is looking for a sweep. Baez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Reserves is staying active underneath Baez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Reserves manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Reserves is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Reserves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Reserves is taking a breather. Baez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Reserves trying to control from half guard but Baez is working away.
Baez looks like he's trying to stand up.

Reserves wants to work for an arm triangle but Baez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Baez has a hand on Reserves's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Reserves takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Reserves sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Baez is desperately trying to improve his position but Reserves has a good base and remains in mount.
Reserves tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Reserves stands up from mount. Strange move.

Reserves closes the distance and clinches.
Reserves looking for a takedown.

Baez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Baez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Baez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reserves controls the pace.
Reserves postures up.

Android Reserves comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reserves has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
