Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benedetti scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. PF doesn't seem bothered though.
Benedetti looks to land a left hand but PF moved out of range nicely.

PF has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

PF turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Benedetti drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops PF onto his butt! PF pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

As Benedetti backs off PF throws a huge counter combo but Benedetti manages to avoid it all.

PF lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Claudio Benedetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

PF comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

PF digs a good body shot into Benedetti's ribs.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

PF throws a wild body kick that Benedetti sees coming a mile off.

PF feints and then cracks Benedetti's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Benedetti down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Benedetti throws a hook to the side of PF's head but PF sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
PF is looking for the big counter here.

It seemed like PF was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Benedetti is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Benedetti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from PF.
A solid leg kick lands there for PF.
Benedetti on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

PF throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Benedetti walks straight into a big right, left combination from PF and drops to the floor! Oh, he's out cold! He's out cold! Wow, that finish was brutal! Congratulations to PF as he moves his way up the rankings!
