The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maha.

Maha moves into range and clinches up with Miranda.

Miranda stands up and beckons Maha to his feet.
Maha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miranda's waist but Miranda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maha off to one side.
Miranda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maha tries to avoid it but Miranda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maha to the ground. Maha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Maha. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Miranda is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Maha can't fight it off and eventually Miranda manages to take the fight to the floor. Maha looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Let's hope that Miranda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Miranda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
