The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Chan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Horst can't fight it off and eventually Chan manages to take the fight to the floor. Horst looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Horst is wriggling around but Chan manages to pass to half guard.

Horst trying to hold on to Chan's head to control him but Chan postures up.
Well, if Chan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horst has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chan is working away from the top position though.
Horst is looking for a sweep. Chan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Horst trying to control but Chan postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Horst trying to get back to full guard but Chan takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Horst is trying to reverse the position but instead Chan has taken his back - oops!
Horst tries to roll but Chan sticks to his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Chan controlling the positon.

Chan is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Horst has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Chan has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Horst taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Chan doesn't care though - he's delighted!
