Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vudu Sims (ranked 586 p4p, 2382 weight class) and Joaquim Caetano (ranked 32 p4p, 133 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joaquim Caetano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sims gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Caetano to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Caetano drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sims dives on top into guard.

Caetano is looking for a triangle but Sims pushes his legs off easily.

Caetano looking for a guillotine here but Sims defends easily.
Sims trying to control the position from guard on top but Caetano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sims wants to get up but he can't break Caetano's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Our spies down at at Pure Progress Fitness inform us that Caetano has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Sims is looking to work some ground and pound but Caetano has wrist control.
Sims definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Sims throws a big elbow that misses.
Sims trying to control but Caetano is working from the bottom.

Caetano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sims gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sims controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Caetano steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sims.

Caetano shoots in and gets a takedown into Sims's guard.
Caetano connects with a couple of short punches.
Sims trying to keep a closed guard but Caetano is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sims holds on and takes a little breather.

Caetano is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caetano engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Caetano is looking to pass into half guard but Sims pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sims is in guard.

Sims wants to control from the top but Caetano keeps moving.
Sims loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Caetano holds on and takes a little breather.
Sims wants to stand but Caetano is controlling his posture from full guard.
Sims wants to control from the top but Caetano keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sims decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Caetano avoids the body shot from Sims.
Vudu Sims is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice straight punches there by Sims. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sims.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vudu Sims will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Caetano throws a combination that misses
and Sims counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Caetano falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

After winning the bout, Vudu Sims thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
