Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buck Bentley (ranked 5284 p4p, 3336 weight class) and Hunter Weaver (ranked 367 p4p, 305 weight class). Weaver is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cassius Clay - Avelino. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buck Bentley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Weaver!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bentley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Weaver steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bentley.
Weaver throws a counter combo.
Weaver swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bentley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A swing and a miss from Weaver.
Weaver connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Buck Bentley has been cut.
Weaver ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hunter Weaver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Weaver looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Weaver lands a nice hook to Bentley's body. Bentley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We've been told by Bentley's head coaches at 1% Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Weaver or perhaps it was just good defense by Bentley, which made it look bad.
Bentley is looking to counter punch.
Weaver fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Weaver thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab from Weaver does it's job there.
Weaver throws a series of punches but Bentley moves out of range.
Bentley throws a big counter combination but Weaver scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Weaver shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bentley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Weaver postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Weaver stands and throws Bentley's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Weaver happy to just control the position for now.
Bentley tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weaver trying to control the action but Bentley is working from the bottom.
Weaver is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bentley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Weaver's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Weaver wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bentley keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
More stalling from Weaver.
Weaver is looking to take a break and control but Bentley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bentley struggling a bit here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Weaver creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bentley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ground and pound from Weaver seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Weaver is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Weaver lands a few punches from side control.

Weaver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bentley is not content to let Weaver control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Weaver dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Weaver shoots in looking for a takedown but Bentley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weaver's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little feinted left hand from Bentley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bentley stuffs the takedown.
Bentley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Weaver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bentley was well out of range. Poor timing from Weaver.

It looked like Bentley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Weaver has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bentley counters with a crisp right hand that drops Weaver! Bentley lets Weaver back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Bentley counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Weaver out cold! What a finish! Bentley is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
