PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinyo Aogi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aogi has chosen "Baka Survivor" by Ulfus as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Frodo Baggins has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frodo Baggins seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aogi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aogi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Baggins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Baggins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Aogi pulls Baggins in close to prevent any damage.

Aogi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baggins manages to get himself to full guard.
Aogi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shinyo Aogi dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Aogi loads up on a big right hand but Baggins slips the punch.

Baggins is looking for a kimura but Aogi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baggins to get the leverage.
Aogi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baggins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baggins's back!
