The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magik keeps the fight on the outside.
Magik is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Magik shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Draconis as he avoids it easily.
Draconis throws a half hearted mid kick.

Magik clinches.
Magik misses with a knee to the head.

Draconis has picked Magik up - he's going for a ride! Draconis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Draconis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Draconis is controlling the pace.
Magik moves into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magik tries to free his leg and advance position but Draconis is retaining full guard.

Draconis is looking for a triangle but Magik pushes his legs off easily.
Draconis looking for a sweep. Not yet Draconis, not yet.
Magik stays in close to Draconis's body and controls the position.
Draconis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
