Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trappy Trapperson (ranked 2338 p4p, 3861 weight class) and Ethan Hunt (ranked 296 p4p, 438 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunt rushes Trapperson and presses him up against the cage.

Trapperson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hunt is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Trapperson to the mat. Trapperson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Trapperson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Trapperson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunt has managed to get both his arms back between Trapperson's legs - danger averted.
Hunt lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Trapperson wants to get back to his feet but Hunt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hunt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hunt with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hunt lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Trapperson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Trapperson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trapperson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trapperson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hunt is trying to get back to full guard.
Hunt is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Trapperson is trying to work for a kimura but Hunt is defending well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Trapperson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hunt is just riding it out for now. Trapperson eventually gives up the hold.

Hunt is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Trapperson has latched onto it... Big trouble! Trapperson pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Hunt is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Trapperson!
