Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akhmed Dudayev (ranked 2862 p4p, 3203 weight class) and Sam Salter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salter has chosen Dead Or Alive as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudayev lands a nice leg kick that just misses Salter's sensitive parts.

and Salter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dudayev won't be happy with that.

Salter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dudayev rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salter's guard! Nice work there by Dudayev!

Salter throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dudayev escapes and throws Salter's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Salter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dudayev jabs Salter to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Dudayev counters with a straight right hand.
We've been told by Dudayev's head coaches at The Barn that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Salter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sam Salter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dudayev is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Salter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dudayev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Salter has his takedown stuffed
and Dudayev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Akhmed Dudayev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Salter.
Salter dives in and grabs Dudayev's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dudayev pushes down on Salter's head and hops out.
Salter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dudayev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salter somewhat.
Akhmed Dudayev is winning the standup battle so far.
Salter is breathing heavily.

Salter tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Salter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dudayev.
Salter has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dudayev.
Dudayev with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dudayev.
Dudayev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Dudayev stuffs the takedown.
Salter with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dudayev counters with a good low kick that Salter was not able to check.

Dudayev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Salter sprawling to the canvas! Salter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dudayev finish him?!

Salter is rocked!

It looks like Sam Salter has been cut.
That kick from Dudayev tenderised Salter's leg. Salter is trying to keep his angry face on.
Salter is still on wobbly legs! Can Dudayev finish him?

Salter seems to have recovered his senses.
Dudayev is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Dudayev turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Salter is aggressively charging in as Dudayev backs up avoiding any damage. Dudayev tosses out a jab and Salter runs right into it face first! Salter is out cold! Dudayev dropped down on all fours and is barking in Salter's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
