Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hendersons (ranked 3150 p4p, 3728 weight class) and Long Thai (ranked 373 p4p, 414 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Hendersons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 30 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Long Thai!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendersons looks to throw the jab but Thai is out of range.
Thai bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Thai swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hendersons.
Hendersons throws a head kick that misses
and Thai holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
Hendersons misses with a punch on the inside.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Thai obliges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hendersons gets control of Thai's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hendersons will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hendersons is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thai defends well.

Hendersons is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thai is aware though and is defending well.
Thai is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hendersons has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hendersons throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Thai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hendersons has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thai has managed to get both his arms back between Hendersons's legs - danger averted.

Hendersons seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Thai forces his way into half guard.
Thai is trying to control the action in half guard but Hendersons is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hendersons looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Thai has picked Hendersons up and slammed him! Hendersons can't keep hold of the triangle and Thai manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Thai remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Hendersons tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hendersons might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Thai content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hendersons throws a right hand that misses
and Thai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hendersons really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Hendersons throws a series of punches but Thai moves out of range.
Thai ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hendersons tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thai wants to counter with a clinch but Hendersons pushes him away.
Hendersons fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thai avoids it really well and circles away.

Hendersons drops his hands momentarily and Thai takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Thai scores with a hook to the body. Hendersons takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Thai connects with a body shot that sends Hendersons's belly button to the back.
Hendersons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thai moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thai slips a jab from Hendersons.
Thai fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hendersons shoots in looking for a takedown but Thai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hendersons's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Thai scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A nice inside leg kick there by Thai. That's going to slow Hendersons down.
Thai drops Hendersons with a beautiful combination! Hendersons stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thai is looking for the KO!
Hendersons is rocked!
It looks like Harry Hendersons has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Hendersons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thai pounces like a tiger and cracks Hendersons with a vicious hook! Hendersons is down but not out! Thai follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
