The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilios tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dalton was well out of range. Poor timing from Vasilios.

Dalton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Vasilios is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dalton pulls his head out easily.

Dalton wants to take a breather but Vasilios is having none of it.

Dalton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vasilios to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vasilios shrugs it off.

Vasilios has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Dalton has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vasilios defend it? Dalton steps over the head and cranks it - Vasilios is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dalton!
